Résumé
This paper considers the evolution of Spanish trade with MERCOSUR and Argentina. According to the average growth rate registered in the past, the current level of trade with MERCOSUR is well below its potential. Textiles and Clothing, and Other Equipment Goods, constitute very promising categories of exported goods for Spain. As to Argentina, Animals Feed and Ores and Minerals have shown to be the most promising categories of traded goods with a clear upward trend. Other categories of goods have exhibited a moderate behavior.
