Résumé

Children's book co-created with students from the Ivujivik school (Nunavik, Québec), based on a traditional Inuit story. The Earth Egg While picking berries on the slopes of Majurqakallak, three children discover a strange egg. What could it contain? This story for young people, inspired by an Inuit oral tale, was co-written and illustrated by students from Nuvviti School during a workshop in Ivujivik, Nunavik. It focuses on the mystery of “earth eggs” scattered across the tundra, notably near the community of Ivujivik, Québec’s northernmost village. In English and Inuktitut. ᓄᓇᐅᑉ ᒪᓐᓂᖏᑦ ᐸᐅᕐᖓᑕᕐᓱᓂ ᖃᕐᖃᖏᓐᓂ ᒪᔪᕐᖃᑲᓪᓚᐅᑉ, ᐱᖓᓱᑦ ᐱᐊᕃᑦ ᑕᑯᔪᕕᓃᑦ ᐊᔪᒉᑦᑐᒥᒃ ᒪᓐᓂᒥᒃ. ᓱᓇᑕᓕᓪᓕᑭᐊᖅ? ᑖᓐᓇ ᐅᓂᒃᑳᑐᐊᖅ ᐃᓅᓱᑦᑐᓅᓕᖓᔪᖅ, ᑲᑦᓱᙰᒍᑕᐅᑦᓱᓂ ᐃᓄᐃᒃ ᐅᖃᐅᓯᕐᑎᒍᑦ ᐅᓂᑲᐅᓯᖓᒍᑦ, ᐊᓪᓚᖃᑎᒌᒍᑕᕕᓂᖅ ᐊᓪᓚᖑᐊᖃᑎᒌᒍᑕᐅᑦᓱᓂᓗ ᐃᓕᓐᓂᐊᑎᓄᑦ ᓄᕝᕕᑎᐅᑉ ᐃᓕᓐᓂᐊᕕᖓᓂ ᑲᑎᒪᓂᐊᕈᓯᖃᕐᑎᓗᒋᑦ ᐃᕗᔨᕕᒃ, ᓄᓇᕕᒻᒥ. ᑕᑯᓐᓇᑐᐊᒐᖃᕐᓱᓂ ᐊᔪᒉᑦᑑᓂᖏᓐᓂᒃ "ᓄᓇᐅᑉ ᒪᓐᓂᖏᑦ" ᐃᕐᐸᖓᔪᑦ ᓇᓂᓕᒫᑦᓯᐊᖅ ᓄᓇᒥ, ᐱᓗᐊᕐᑐᒥᒃ ᓴᓂᐊᓂ ᓄᓇᓕᖓᑕ ᐃᕗᔨᕕᐅᑉ, ᑯᐯᒃ ᑕᕐᕋᓯᓐᓂᐹᖓᓂ ᓄᓇᓕᐅᔪᓂᒃ. ᖃᓪᓗᓈᑎᑐᑦ ᐃᓄᑦᑎᑐᓪᓗ ᓄᐃᑕᕕᓂᖅ ᐱᓇᓱᐊᖃᑎᒌᑦᓱᑎᒃ ᑖᓐᓇᓗ Un livre à la fois ᓄᕝᕕᑎᐅᑉ ᐃᓕᓐᓂᐊᕕᖓᓗ.
